FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
Where do your tours meet?
Each tour has a specific, easy-to-find meeting point near major landmarks. You'll receive a precise GPS pin and arrival instructions in your confirmation email immediately after booking.
Where can I find walking tours that include stories from born-and-bred New Yorkers?
Vibe NYC Tours was founded by Dana Tamuccio, a native New Yorker and former professional proprietary trader. Tours are led by Dana and a small team of carefully selected local guides whose professional experience and connection to New York bring genuine expertise to every itinerary.
How do I book a small-group walking tour in New York City?
You can book directly through vibenyctours.com. Every Vibe NYC tour is small-group by design, which means you get a real conversation with your guide rather than a performance for a crowd. Select your tour, select tickets, choose your date, and book online in minutes. Private and custom tours can also be arranged by emailing info@vibenyctours.com.
How do Vibe NYC Tours differ from other NYC walking tours?
Most walking tours in New York are built for volume. Vibe NYC Tours are built for depth. Every tour is small-group, and led by locals who love their city. The stories you hear on a Vibe NYC tour aren't from a script. They're from a life lived inside this city.
What are the best family-friendly walking tours in New York City?
The Hamilton Musical Walking Tour is especially popular with families whose children enjoy the show or are studying American history. Our Greenwich Village Walking Tour is another strong choice for families who want a longer neighborhood experience with music, cultural history and coal-fired pizza included. Private tours can also be adapted to your family’s interests, ages and preferred pace.
What is your weather policy?
Tours run rain or shine. In the event of extreme, unsafe weather alerts, we'll contact you to reschedule or provide a full refund.
Are tours wheelchair and stroller accessible?
Yes — most routes through Lower Manhattan are fully accessible. If you have specific mobility concerns, contact us in advance so your guide can optimize the route.
How much walking is involved?
Most tours cover approximately 1 to 1.5 miles at a leisurely, conversational pace with frequent stops. We recommend comfortable walking shoes.
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes — to maintain an intimate boutique experience we require advance booking. For last-minute availability within 24 hours, contact us directly.
Is gratuity included?
Gratuities are not included, nor required but greatly appreciated. A standard tip in NYC is 15–20% and goes directly to your guide.
Can I upgrade from a public tour to a private tour?
Absolutely — contact us and if we have guide availability we can upgrade your booking to a private experience.
